AI Help Assistant

Help that actually knows RedHorse. Ask a question in plain English, get an answer drawn from the actual documentation — menu paths, field names, workflow steps, all the specifics you’d otherwise be hunting for.

It stays open beside your work, and it’s available from any screen — even from inside modal dialogs.

How it works

You know RedHorse can do what you need. You’re just not sure which menu it lives under, or what that field is called.

The help docs have the answer. You’re not in the mood to skim them.

Ask AI reads your question, pulls the relevant pages from the RedHorse help corpus, and answers using what’s actually documented. Not generic CRM advice — RedHorse specifics: the menu paths, the field names, the workflow steps.

The assistant lives in a dock panel beside your work. You can keep your setup screen open and ask a question without losing your place. If you’re inside a modal dialog — Workflow Setup, Report Builder, Field Admin — Ask AI is right there too, no need to close the dialog to go look something up.

A typical question

Open Ask AI from the toolbar or the Help menu. Type what you need to know:

“How do I set up a workflow that emails a contact three days after an opportunity is created?”

AI walks you through it: open Workflow Setup, pick the right trigger, add a Wait step set to 3 days, add an Email step — with the specific field values you’ll need at each stop.

“Where do I change the default folder for exported reports?”

AI gives you the menu path and explains what the setting controls.

“What’s the difference between a contact’s primary phone and the account’s main phone?”

AI explains where each field lives, when each is used, and how they relate.

You can keep going in the same thread — ask follow-ups, drill into details, or pivot to something else.

Available from anywhere

Ask AI is reachable from any screen in RedHorse, including the places help usually can’t reach:

  • From the main window, Ask AI opens as a dock panel beside your work
  • From modal dialogs — workflow setup, report builder, field admin — one click away without closing the dialog
  • From toolbars and menus, every screen has a direct path

The answer comes back in the panel. You keep working while it generates.

Save and share an answer

When an answer is useful — to you later, to a coworker now, or to the whole team — you have three options:

  • Save to Knowledge Base — a picker dialog lets you choose a KB category and title. Now the answer is searchable for everyone on the team.
  • Save to History — attach the answer to a contact or account’s history so it lives with that record.
  • Send by email — the answer drops into a new email, formatted and ready to send to a coworker or client.

This is the part that compounds. A question that took a minute to answer becomes a KB entry your team uses for years.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

ChatGPT doesn’t know RedHorse. It’ll invent menu paths, hallucinate field names, and confidently describe features that don’t exist. Ask AI, utilizing Claude, is grounded in the actual RedHorse help corpus — every answer is based on the documentation we wrote.

Does it know my data?

No. Ask AI knows the product — its menus, workflows, and help docs. It doesn’t read your contacts, accounts, or emails. Questions about your data live in RedHorse itself; questions about how to use RedHorse go to Ask AI.

What if it gets it wrong?

AI cites the help pages it drew from. You can click through and verify. When it doesn’t have a documented answer, it says so rather than guessing.

Does it cost extra?

Ask AI is included with any RedHorse AI subscription. If you’re already using AI Email Triage or RedHorse AI for drafting, Ask AI is part of the same plan.
